Hannele Korhonen is a values-driven former corporate lawyer with over 25 years of experience across law, technology, and innovation. A contract specialist, she founded her own law firm, co-founded the legal SaaS startup Contract Mill, and built Lawyers Design School from the ground up. She has since expanded her practice to serve change-makers among creative professionals and service providers who are ready to design work that truly works for them.
Hannele is a speaker and advocate for a future in which professional services are regenerative, law is human-centered, and the people doing the work feel genuinely free.
She studied law at the University of Helsinki, graduating with a Master of Laws (LLM), and earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a major in Management and Leadership from the University of Jyväskylä. She completed a Diploma in Service Design at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development and pursued pedagogical studies at Haaga-Helia School of Vocational Teacher Education, qualifying as a Vocational Teacher.
Hannele is currently a PhD researcher at the University of Lapland, Faculty of Art & Design. Her research explores super intuition and how it can be applied to drive radical legal innovation.
Her journey from corporate law to business and innovation coaching reflects her own pioneering path—leaving traditional structures to create something more human, spacious, and aligned. She understands the courage it takes to experiment with new ways of working and supports others in building practices that honor both excellence and authenticity.
