For more than 135 years, the Toronto Lawyers' Association, located within the Courthouse Library, has represented the interests of lawyers practising in the City of Toronto. The association was founded to support its members in three key areas: Knowledge, Advocacy, and Community. To uphold these pillars, the association offers a year-round mix of online and in-person education programs for lawyers, hosts both free and paid events to foster in-person networking, and submits advocacy pieces on behalf of its members to the Ontario bench and bar, all levels of government, and the broader public.

Taylor maintains a general litigation practice with an emphasis on claims arising from professional negligence, occupiers' liability, products liability, and sports-related matters. Routinely sought to represent property owners, contractors, athletic associations and athletes, municipalities, and other lawyers, Taylor has earned the reputation as a formidable advocate, driven by her competitive spirit and dedication to achieving the best outcomes for her clients. Taylor is recognized for her unwavering commitment to professionalism and civility. She has a rare blend of competitiveness and empathy. Colleagues and clients alike attest to her ability to fiercely defend her clients' interests while maintaining a deep respect for fairness and civility in legal proceedings. Her approachability and understanding make her a trusted advisor, particularly in complex and sensitive cases where empathy is as important as legal expertise. Taylor is a multi-sport athlete who played Division 1 soccer at Illinois State University on a full athletic scholarship before completing her LL.B at the University of Ottawa and embarking on her legal career. The experience and insight that she has gained through sports has been invaluable to her clients on sports-related matters. She continues to foster her love for the game by coaching youth soccer and is actively involved in lacrosse and hockey in her community, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact beyond the courtroom. Taylor is a designated Preferred Counsel by LawPRO. Taylor is fluent in French.

Scott is a proud graduate of Laurentian University in Sudbury. Thereafter, he attended Law School in Ottawa and graduated with an LL.B. in May of 2000. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in February 2002. After his call, Scott practised in Toronto. His practice is predominantly comprised of personal injury and insurance issues and he has acted on behalf of both Plaintiffs and Defendants in these matters. He has recent experience with Jury Trials, further to his experience in the Superior Court of Ontario and other Courts. He has also appeared before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as well as the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. Scott is bilingual and is pleased to have returned to the Sudbury area in 2014, joining Weaver Simmons, and becoming a partner in 2017. He continues to practice on behalf of Plaintiffs and Defendants involving Insurance and other matters. In 2021, Scott was appointed a Deputy Judge of the Ontario Small Claims Court. He has also been actively involved in legal education and mentorship, serving as a mentor with Toronto Metropolitan University since 2024 and coaching mock trial teams since 2023. He serves on the board of the Sudbury District Law Association and is a director of The Advocates' Society. In 2026, Scott returns to Kostyniuk & Greenside as counsel. He continues to practise in the areas of insurance and related litigation on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Scott, having always had an interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution, has participated in numerous mandatory and private mediations and is now offering services as a mediator for all Ontario matters to help parties resolve insurance-related disputes province wide. Oneal Banerjee has been practicing insurance and personal injury litigation since 2003. Oneal has represented clients at all stages of the litigation process, up to and including trial, judicial review, and appeal. Oneal's experience prior to joining Dolden Wallace Folick includes complex insurance, product liability, and government liability litigation as a lawyer at one of the country's largest full-service national law firms and a leading insurance defence boutique, after Articling at the Crown Law Office – Civil (Ontario). Oneal's practice focuses on complex specialty insurance disputes, including class actions, professional negligence, construction, and large property damage claims. Oneal also has extensive experience defending negligent investigation and wrongful death matters, defending physical assault and sexual abuse claims, and handling product liability, and complex property and casualty claims, arising from fires and gas explosions. In recognition of his breadth of experience in the practice of insurance law, Oneal was selected to teach the Insurance Law Course at Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University in the Fall 2024 semester.
